FluoroFlange

Gaskets which have Teflon and material inserts have been used for many years. Typically, a corrugated metal insert is combined with polymer layers forming a gasket able to seal with lower bolt loads, provide improved thermal cycling and withstand increased pressure.

FluoroFlange gaskets combine any one of UFC Fluorogreen's Engineered PTFE materials and an ultra high performance stainless steel insert to produce a gerneral high performance flange. This combination results in the finest sealing PTFE gaskets available. Unlike competative gaskets, the FluoroFlange stainless steel insert is totally encapsulated, exposing no part of the insert to chemical attack.

FluoroFlange gaskets give the user a high degree of safety and blow-out resistance. FluoroFlange gaskets are manufactured as 1/8" thick in a full range of flange sizes, PTFE materials and pressure ratings. FluoroFlange gaskets have been known to reduce operational costs, have extremely low creep properties and are capable of withstanding service temperatures in excess of 500 degrees F.

The high compressibility of the FluoroFlange effectively fills imperfections for a tight, leake-free reinforced seal. Even the smallest imperfection on a surface area is protected from the harmful effectes of corrosive media. Unlike conventional PTFE, which is prone to cold flow, the FluoroFlange has good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties.

FluoroFlange is the perfect choice as a high performance polymer gasket.
